John Burroughs Sanctuary

170 acres of lush Hudson Valley forest including naturalist John Burroughs’ rustic cabin “Slabsides”.
The trails here are beautiful but keep in mind that this is a preserve and the trails vary in elevation
and more natural than hikes on the rail trails.
